LIF-H Horizontal IFAK Pouch by Ragnarok represents a modern standard in tactical medicine. This model addresses a key problem faced by operators: how to carry a bulky first aid kit so it doesn’t interfere with movement, yet remains accessible within seconds.

Optimal Placement

The tubular form factor allows the IFAK to be mounted horizontally on the lower back (on an LBE or plate carrier). In this position, it fills unused space along the spine, does not interfere with sitting in vehicles, avoids conflict with body armor, and allows unrestricted movement, including crawling.

Sleeve & Insert Construction

The pouch consists of two components:

• Outer sleeve: Made from high-tech Cordura® Squadron™ using Laser Cut technology. It mounts to the load-bearing equipment and serves as the base. The sleeve’s volume is adjustable via shock cord, ensuring a secure fit for the insert regardless of loadout.
• Inner organizer insert: Features elastic retention slots for a tourniquet, bandages, hemostatics, chest seals, and other IFAK contents. Its key advantage is ambidextrous access — robust pull tabs on both sides allow instant extraction with either the left or right hand.

The use of laminated fabric (Cordura Squadron) instead of traditional Cordura significantly reduces weight, increases abrasion resistance, and keeps the profile максимально low.
