Hybrid Construction

The pouch combines rigidity and elasticity:

• Base (Backplate): Made from ultra-durable Cordura® Squadron™ using Laser Cut technology. This provides a rigid, stable mount on gear and exceptional long-term durability.
• Body: Constructed from a wide, dense elastic webbing. It automatically adapts to the size of the tourniquet, firmly compressing it from all sides. This makes the pouch highly versatile and fully compatible with C-A-T tourniquets.

Security and Speed

The tourniquet is securely retained by the friction of the elastic body, with an additional safety layer provided by a laminated Velcro retention flap.

• Standby mode: The flap remains closed, protecting the tourniquet from accidental loss — even during airborne operations or crawling.
• Combat mode: A single pull on the flap tab instantly opens the pouch and allows rapid extraction of the tourniquet.

Additional Functionality

An elastic side loop is provided for a marker, essential for recording tourniquet application time. The pouch mounts to any MOLLE platform (plate carrier, belt, backpack) while occupying minimal space.
