The LIF-V medical pouch by Ragnarok is an evolution of rip-away IFAKs, with a primary focus on maximum attachment security without sacrificing access speed.

Platform Security System

This is a known weak point of many medical pouches, and in version 5.0 it has been fundamentally reworked.

• Carrier platform: Mounts to MOLLE and features a wide top retention flap made from laminated Cordura with Velcro.
• Operating principle: The pouch attaches to the platform via a Velcro panel and is additionally locked in place by the top retention flap that wraps over it.
• Removal: Simply pull the flap tab upward to unlock, then rip the pouch away toward yourself. This takes seconds while completely preventing accidental loss during crawling, snagging on vegetation, or vehicle movement.

Internal Organization

The IFAK opens in a clamshell design.

• Opening angle adjustment: An internal paracord with a cord lock allows you to set the opening angle. The pouch can open to 90° (table-style, preventing contents from spilling) or fully to 180°.
• Mesh pockets: Both inner panels feature spacious, durable mesh pockets with zippers (or elastic openings). This solution is far more practical than standard elastic loops for small items such as pills, bandages, gloves, or chest seals, which are easy to lose.

Materials and Exterior

The front of the pouch is manufactured using Laser Cut technology and functions as a MOLLE panel for attaching additional equipment (for example, a tourniquet holder, trauma shears, or a marker). A Velcro panel for identification patches is also provided on the front.
The use of laminated components in critical stress areas significantly extends the service life of the pouch.
